School starts, work never ends CLIFTON PARK — Shenendehowa Central School District employees, like CSEA school district members across the state, have welcomed students back for the start of another academic year. But district employees know that much work needs to be done before the official start. Getting buses ready to roll, preparing classrooms and playing fields for safe and healthy activities, providing nutritious meals and a safe learning environment are only some of the jobs performed by CSEA school district employees. As in many school districts across the state, Shenedehowa Unit members are also active in the community. — Therese Assalian Shenedehowa School District Unit President Kathleen Pepper and 2nd Vice President Barbara Jones recently took time out to volunteer at a summer meals program sponsored by Saratoga County and CAPTAIN, an area non-profit that assists families. School District Superintendent Day Work & Life Workshops at no cost CSEA WORK Institute has secured grant money to sponsor Work & Shenendehowa School District Unit Transportation Department employees spent time this summer preparing buses for the start of the school year, as did many CSEA members across the state doing similar work.
