FamilyAssistNet may be for you For some CSEA members, long-term care insurance is the right solution. However, many of our members cannot purchase long-term care insurance due to its cost, or due to pre-existing health conditions, or due to age. Those are exactly the members that FamilyAssistNet is for. Statistics indicate that if you live past age 75, you’ll have an 80 percent chance of a long term care incident that will require either nursing home or home health care. FamilyAssistNet is a program that will offer assistance in identifying your options for home health care and nursing home needs at the best possible rates. FamilyAssistNet has a network of pre-screened providers essential to home care services. As a CSEA member, the annual enrollment fee is $99 (it is $249 for non-members). This fee covers both you and your spouse and the fee will never increase. For more information, call 1-888-376-6020 or email lori@ncbainc.com.
